Proximal hamstring tendon repair

Dr. Haber performed my proximal hamstring tendon repair in June. After an unfortunate accident on a skateboard that tore my hamstring tendons off the bone, I saw Dr. Haber when I realized that this was an injury that needed immediate care. I was able to get into to see him quickly and he recognized the severity of the injury and was able to fit me in for surgery quickly because time is of an essence for this kind of repair. Surgery and recovery went smoothly for me and any questions or concerns I had were answered by Dr Haber and his team. I have since learned about how wrong this surgery can go for some people, and I am so thankful that my surgery and rehab went so smoothly under the care of Dr. Haber. I am now 6 months post op and feel great. I’m returning to all the sports I love feeling strong and stable.

ACL surgery & reconstruction

When surgery is indicated, Dr. Haber generally favors ACL reconstruction using the patient's own patellar tendon or quadriceps tendon. He also performs BEAR ACL repair for carefully selected injuries. Each recommendation accounts for knee stability, associated meniscus damage, athletic demands and long-term goals.
